At the Bankruptcy Clinic, we invest in our clients from the very beginning. We believe the only way for anyone to make a good decision is to have the information needed to make that decision. When you leave your initial consultation, you should have your questions about bankruptcy answered. When you first come in our office, you will be asked to fill out a couple of short intake forms. We have a quick questionnaire about your computer comfort. At the Bankruptcy Clinic, we use the internet for a lot of things. We want to know how comfortable you are with computers. After that, you will watch a short video that explains the basic bankruptcy process When you are finished with the video, you will meet with the paralegal to do a quick review of your forms. When the forms are complete, you will meet with one of the attorneys. Based on the information you provided in the worksheets, the attorney will determine which chapter of the bankruptcy code is applicable in your case. The attorney will review your assets and your debts to help you understand what would likely happen in your particular case should you file bankruptcy.
